Brookfield Parent Association (BPA) Meeting Minutes
1. Carnation Sale went well-over with 1200 sold (profit approx. $480)
2. Daffins sale (Total sales exceeded $17,000) Pick Up will be Friday April 3rd . We will need volunteers that day to unload boxes, and to help at pick up.
3. Family Dance will be held Friday March 20th in HS gym. Cost is $5 pp and includes pizza, chips, water and glow bracelet. Theme will be a St Patrick’s Day/Glow Theme. Volunteers will be needed to set up tables around 4pm that day. This is a pre-sale event only. Flyers will be sent home soon in the Warrior Folder this coming Monday.
4. At the next meeting, we will be stuffing Easter eggs for the Easter party. Flyers will be sent home for anyone wanting to donate candy for the event. Volunteers will be needed for both the classrooms and the egg hunt. Grade chairs will be reaching out to parents to find volunteers for the classrooms. For grade chairs we will need 2 per classroom and plan activities for down time while the grades are waiting for their turn. Please turn lists into Brynn so they can be given to the office.
5. The end of school party will be held at the school like prior years. We will have Kona Ice, Teachers lounge, blow-ups, indoor games and a clown. We will need a lot of volunteers for this event.
6. We have been asked to purchase the elementary Warrior folders for the next school year. Mrs. Filicky will be getting the cost over to us soon.
7. We will once again be awarding two $1000 BPA scholarships to graduating seniors. Applications will be accepted for the next few months.
8. In May, we will have our final book fair of the school year. We will be looking to fill volunteer spots each day.
