Congratulations to BHS Freshman Isabella Williams - she has been selected for the Tribune Chronicle's 2024 Class of Twenty Under 20!
Now in it's 12th year this program honors 20 high-achieving individuals younger than 20 for their leadership skills through volunteerism, extracurricular activities, and academic achievements. More than 50 nominations were received this year, Isabella is the only freshman to be selected to the class!
Here at BHS Isabella is a 4.0 student and is a member of the girls soccer team, volleyball team, track and field team, and marching band. She also participates in Drama Club, Art Club, Environmental Club, and STEM Club. She is an avid, competitive wrestler, and volunteers her time to various youth sports teams, has participated in Panerathon, tutors elementary and middle school students, has organized various donation drives, and is involved in several community organizations.
Isabella and the other members of her Twenty Under 20 Class will be recognized during a special dinner in December. During the dinner, the top five winners will be selected to split $1,000 to the local charity of their choice. One overall winner will be chosen.
