BROOKFIELD, Ohio — Brookfield High School has been recognized by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce with the Momentum Award for its outstanding improvement on the 2024–2025 Ohio School Report Cards.
The Momentum Award is presented to schools that demonstrate significant academic progress, specifically improving their Performance Index score by three or more points while also earning a Value-Added rating of four or more stars. The recognition highlights schools that are making measurable strides in student growth and achievement.
According to the official award letter, the honor reflects Brookfield High School’s commitment to fostering a supportive and effective learning environment while driving continuous academic improvement. The department praised the school’s dedication to both student success and long-term development.
Principal Dr. Megan Marino credited the achievement to the collective effort of the entire school community.
“This is a testament to the hard work and dedication from our students, staff, and families,” Marino said. “We are incredibly proud of the progress we’ve made together and look forward to continued momentum as we move forward.”
