Our Brookfield Transportation Team recently participated in Advanced Driver Training in Perrysburg, where they spent two days sharpening their skills through hands-on learning and professional development.

Training topics included evasive maneuvers, proactive response strategies, and current transportation safety challenges. One of the most impactful experiences involved using impairment simulation goggles, which demonstrated how distractions, fatigue, and other impairments can affect a driver's reaction time, decision-making, and overall performance behind the wheel.

Participants navigated a driving course while wearing the goggles, gaining valuable insight into the importance of staying alert and focused at all times.

The experience reinforced our drivers' commitment to safety and gave them an even greater appreciation for the responsibility they carry each day transporting Brookfield students. Thank you to our dedicated transportation staff for continually investing in their skills and helping keep our students safe!

Brookfield High School has been recognized by the OHSAA and Change the Game Ohio for having the highest participation in this year's Change the Game Ohio Youth Gambling Survey.

As a result, Brookfield High School has been awarded a $1,000 prize in recognition of our students' outstanding participation and commitment to youth gambling awareness and prevention.

Mrs. Sulick’s 4th grade class put their teamwork and engineering skills to the test with a cup challenge! Students worked together to design and build the tallest structure possible using only cups. Creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration were on full display as teams competed to see whose tower could reach the highest! 🏗️👏

The 2026 Grove St. Block Party is Saturday, May 30th from 10am to 2pm.

Senior Breakfast was a great way to start the day! ☀️🥞

8th Grade “Bigs” visited their Kindergarten “Littles” for the final time this school year! ❤️💙

Students spent time together creating America 250 crafts, and our 8th graders shared their “Story of the U.S.” books by reading them aloud to the kindergarteners.

This week, nearly 20 Brookfield High School students completed the “Murph” Challenge on Monday, joining athletes, service members, and communities across the country in honoring the legacy of Lt. Michael P. Murphy.

Michael P. Murphy was a U.S. Navy SEAL who was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2005 during Operation Red Wings. He was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his extraordinary bravery and sacrifice. The “Murph” workout was one of his favorite training routines, originally known as “Body Armor,” and was later renamed in his honor.

Standard Murph Workout (For Time):
1 mile run
100 pull-ups
200 push-ups
300 air squats
1 mile run

Last week, our 8th grade students who stayed back from the Washington, D.C. trip had a blast painting decorative rocks! 🎨🪨
Students showed off their creativity while designing colorful and unique creations.

Our 2nd graders recently toured our Makerspace and got a firsthand look at all the creativity and technology it has to offer! Students even got to take home personalized stickers and pencils with their names on them.

A big shoutout to our high school students for doing an amazing job demonstrating the machines and helping inspire the next generation of creators and innovators!
