💥 Go Warriors! 💪🎉 Big shoutout to Isabella Williams for finishing 3rd at the district wrestling tournament—she’s headed to state in Columbus next weekend! 🥉🔥 #WarriorPride #RoadToState #GoWarriors

This week, Mrs. Williams’ classes welcomed her brother and Brookfield alumnus, Marcus Yensick, as a guest speaker. Marcus shared his inspiring career journey, from growing up in Brookfield and never even hearing about diving as a career, to becoming a Special Operations deep-sea diver with deployments across the Middle East, the South China Sea, and Africa.
While working full-time, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Strategic Studies and Defense Analysis and later served as a Navy Intelligence Officer aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford. He has traveled to 25 countries across six continents and will soon begin a master’s degree in International Relations at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.
Marcus reminded students that discovering a passion doesn’t require prior experience—hard work and dedication can take you far.

Students in Mrs. Henry’s Principles of Engineering class recently completed an exciting biomimicry project designing and building robots that mimic real animal behaviors in response to their environment.
Check out their creative designs:
🐢 A turtle robot that senses danger and displays “HIDE” on its screen before retreating.
🐂 A bull robot that increases its speed when it detects the color red.
🦨 A skunk robot that raises its tail straight up when it senses fear. Don’t worry no smells included 😄
Through this hands on project students explored sensors programming and problem solving while discovering how nature inspires innovative engineering solutions.

Our Home Improvement students are wrapping up their impressive Model Bathroom project! 🛠️🚿
As part of Brookfield Builds, our students have been hard at work designing and constructing a model bathroom from the ground up. From measuring and framing to installing fixtures and adding the finishing touches, they’ve gained valuable hands-on experience that connects classroom learning to real-world skills.

🏗️🔩 Brookfield Team 2 Wins the “Wade Harvey” Design Award! 🔩🏗️
At the Mahoning Valley Miniature Bridge Building Competition, Brookfield Team 2 earned the prestigious “Wade Harvey” Design Award” — recognizing the highest achievement in efficiency, aesthetics, and design complexity! 👏
👏 Team Members:
• Conner Mihalcin
• Jayden Duncan
• Will O’Brien
During the event, students constructed their bridges on-site within a specified time frame according to strict competition specifications. After allowing time for glue to dry, each bridge was evaluated on design criteria and then load tested until failure.
Their bridge stood out not only for its impressive load-to-weight efficiency, but also for its visual appeal and sophisticated engineering design — a true showcase of creativity and civil engineering skill.
Congratulations to these outstanding students for representing Brookfield with excellence! 💙
