Lady Warriors vs. Golden Eagles

The girls basketball team beat United Local yesterday (11/23/20) with a final score of 53-47. Katie Gibson had 5 points and 5 steals, Katie Logan had 11 points and 5 steals, Audrey Reardon had 14 points and 5 assists, and Sophia Hook had 23 points and 8 rebounds for the Lady Warriors. Way to go!!!

The boys basketball team beat Grand Valley 2/25/20, with a final score of 68-60. Gage Emery had 24 points and 11 rebounds, Haden Gibson had 20 points, and Conner Stevens had 15 points for the Warriors.

The Warriors will play at Newton Falls in the sectional finals this Friday, 2/28/20, at 7:00 p.m.

The girls basketball team will play Cornerstone Christian in the district semi finals today (2/26/20) at 6:00 p.m. at Grand Valley High School. (Grand Valley HS, 111 Grand Valley Ave., W. Orwell, OH 44076)

Tickets for tonight's girls basketball game will be on sale today in school. Ticket cost is $6. All tickets at the game will cost $7.

Pre-Sale Tickets
To help with the ease of admittance and to make sure your fans and community can come support your team. The NEDAB allows the sale of pre-sale tickets at your school for the District Tournament. I will be dropping off your Pre-Sale tickets and ticket accountability sheets to each of you tomorrow morning. The NEDAB will also be selling tickets on line this year through Home Town Ticketing. This process is explained below. All pre-sale tickets will be sold for $6.00 each and every school will receive 250 tickets. On Wednesday we will not be clearing the gym between games and I am anticipating this to be very close to if not a sell out. Because of this and to ensure seating I will need you to send me a number(s) of pre-sale Tickets that you sold by Each day at 4:00 pm and then on Wednesday by 12:00 pm. Depending how many tickets are being sold I may be able to offer more pre-sale tickets. Remember to please bring the left over pre-sale tickets, the pre-sale ticket accountability sheet and all monies with you to the game or make advanced arrangements with me to turn in this information at a later date. Any checks must be made out to "Grand Valley Local Schools". Each school will receive a "bonus" of $2.00 per pre-sale ticket sold. For the two team that make it to Saturdays finals I may be able to offer your school a larger volume of pre-sale tickets. 

Online Tickets
Home Town Ticketing will be offering the option for fans to buy tickets online this year. The link that will be used for online purchasing is: Girls On-Line Ticket Sales. When a ticket is purchased the buyer get the choice to select what school they are affiliated with so that school will get credit for the sale. The tickets for the Semi-Final games will begin being sold on Sunday, February 23rd and end on Wednesday, February 26th at 4:00 pm. The tickets for the Finals game will begin being sold on Thursday, February 27th at 8:00 am and end on Saturday, February 29th at 2:00 pm. Online Presale tickets will be $6.00 and there will be a service charge added to this price. To use an online ticket the purchaser will need to either print out the ticket or have an electronic device so their bar code can be scanned.  

Team Pass List
Please make sure you e-mail myself and Diane Ferguson an updated and completed team pass list before Wednesday at 10:00 am. Only persons listed on this pass list may enter free of charge. No additions will be made to this list after the gates open. I will also be using this list to announce your teams so please make sure this document is typed out if possible. I will allow the losing teams in Wednesday games to attend the District Final game free of charge. Your pass list will be used for admittance. Please let me know in advance that you will be attending along with the number of people from this list that will be attending. This way I can assure seating for you. If you do not let me know in advance you are not guaranteed seating.

- The locker rooms will be open to teams 1 1/4 hrs before game time.
- Gates will open 1 hour before game time.
- All tickets will be $7.00 at the gate for students/adults/senior citizens.
- Teams will enter Grand Valley through the South Athletic Entrance (long sidewalk facing the football field) and then check in with the "Pass/Team" personnel.
- Only persons on the teams pass list will get in free of charge.
- The court will be available or warm up purposes 35 min before the start of your game with basketballs being available 25 min before the start of the game.
- The floor will be cleared 5 min before the start of the game for announcements.
- All players will be announced with the starters being announced last. The visiting team will be announced first.
- Please make sure to have your schools administrator check in with the "Pass/Team" personnel and let them know where you will be sitting. So if needed we can find them.
- From past experience Grand Valley suggest that fans arrive early. In the past we have had to close the doors due to maximum capacity of the facilities. 
- Due to the large nature of the crowds at these games please have your buses park in the far southwest area of the parking lot.

Lady Warriors onto OHSAA Sectionals

The girls basketball team beat Fairport Harbor yesterday (2/19/20) with a final score of 53-33. Audrey Reardon had 21 points, Sophia Hook had 16 points, and Rebecca Litz had 12 rebounds for the Lady Warriors.

The Lady Warriors will play at Andrews Osborne Academy this Saturday, 2/22/20, at 1:00 p.m. in the OHSAA Sectional Finals. Best of luck!!

The boys basketball team will start tournament play next Tuesday, 2/25/20, at home vs. Grand Valley at 7:00 p.m.

Boys Beat Lisbon

The boys basketball team beat Lisbon yesterday (2/18/20), 69-61. Conner Stevens had 17 points, Gage Emery had 16 points, Haden Gibson had 15 points, and Connor Filipovich had 12 points for the Warriors.

AAC Blue Tier Championship

Congratulations to the boys basketball team! The team beat LaBrae yesterday (2/12/20), with a final score of 43-31. 
The varsity girls basketball team beat Heartland Christian 51-30 yesterday (2/12/20). Audrey Reardon had 18 points, Kenzie Jumper had 13 points, Sophia Hook had 10 points, and Becca Litz had 11 rebounds for the Lady Warriors. 

Heartland Christian Change

The varsity girls basketball game at Heartland Christian has been moved from Thursday (2/13/20) to Wednesday (2/12/20) this week. The game will start at 5:30 p.m.

Lady Warriors Beat Campbell

The girls basketball team beat Campbell yesterday, February 6th, 43-23. Sophia Hook had 13 points, Rebecca Litz had 9 points and 12 rebounds, and Kacie Mosora had 8 points for the Lady Warriors.

Lady Warriors Beat Newton Falls

The girls basketball team beat Newton Falls yesterday (2/5/20) with a score of 57-43. Sophia Hook had 24 points, Audrey Reardon had 19 points, Katie Logan had 7 points, and Rebecca Litz had 11 rebounds for the Lady Warriors. Way to go!!

Brookfield Wins Over Champion

The boys basketball team beat Champion yesterday (2/4/20), 59-52. Isaiah Jones had 14 points and 13 rebounds, Conner Stevens had 12 points, Jake Shingledecker had 10 points, and Haden Gibson  had 9 points and 5 assists for the Warriors.

Warriors Trounce Rebels

Isaiah Jones made a shot at the buzzer as the Warriors defeated Crestview last night (1/28/20), 57-56. Conner Stevens had 27 points and went over 1,000 points in his career. Fantastic!

Warriors Spite the Red Devils

The boy's basketball team beat Campbell yesterday (1/21/20) with a final score of 71-48. Conner Stevens had 18 points, Haden Gibson had 13 points, and Isaiah Jones had 13 points and 13 rebounds for the Warriors. Great job!

Brookfield Beats Mathews

The varsity boys' basketball team beat Mathews last Saturday with a final score of 80-66. Conner Stevens had 34 points, Haden Gibson had 21 points and 4 assists, and Isiah Jones had 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Warriors. Way to go!!

Warriors Plunder Pirates

The boys basketball team beat Southeast yesterday (12/17/19) with a final score of 58-48. Top scorers were Connor Stevens with 19 points, Haden Gibson with 12 points, and Gage Emery with 11 points. Leading rebounders were Isiah Jones and Conner Filipovich with 8 each.

Warriors Subdue Heralds

The boys basketball team beat St. John yesterday, 12/10/19, with a final score of 68-56. Top scorers were Conner Stevens with 19 points, Haden Gibson with 15 points, Gage Emery with 12 points, and Connor Filipovich with 11 points for the Warriors.

Schedule Changes

Due to Christmas concerts at Brookfield & LaBrae on Thursday, 12/12/19, the following schedule changes have been made:

Middle school girls basketball will play at LaBrae on Wednesday, 12/11/19, at 5:30 p.m.

The 9th grade boys game will be at LaBrae on Thursday, 12/12/19, at 5:00 p.m.

The middle school boys games will be played as scheduled on Thursday at home, but will be played in the high school gym at 5:30 p.m.

Mixed Results

The JV girls basketball team beat Springfield Local yesterday (12/4/19), 33-17. Katie Gibson led the team with 10 points. Unfortunately, the varsity girls lost to Springfield Local, 45-36. Anna Reichart had 11 points and 10 rebounds while Sophia Hook had 11 points and 4 assists for the Lady Warriors.

Warriors Defeat Blue Devils

The girl's basketball team beat Lisbon yesterday, 12/2/19, with a final score of 62-40. Audrey Reardon had 14 points, Becca Litz had 10 points and 11 rebounds, Anna Reichart had 9 points and 10 rebounds, Mikayla Jumper had 9 points, Sophia Hook had 8 points and 5 assists, and Katie Logan had 8 points for the Lady Warriors.

Lady Warriors Suffer Tough Loss to Pymatuning Valley

The girls basketball team lost to Pymatuning Valley yesterday (11/25/19) 55-46.  Rebecca Litz had 18 points and 17 rebounds, Katie Logan had 14 points, and Audrey Reardon had 6 assists for the Lady Warriors.
