The girls basketball team defeated Waterloo yesterday, 11/28/22, 51-41. Sophia Hook had 21 points and 5 assists, Cailey Wellman had 15 points and 13 rebounds, and Katie Logan had 4 steals for the Lady Warriors.

Great Job!

Congratulations to Donovan Pawlowski for being named the Trumbull County Football Player of the Year. Donovan is only the third Brookfield football player to earn the Player of the Year Award.

Student Earns Microsoft Expert Certification

Brookfield High School Sophomore Zachariah Karg is the first student in the district’s history to receive a Microsoft Office 2016 Expert Certification! The distinction came on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, after Karg formally passed the Microsoft Excel certification examination.  “I am pretty proud of the certification,” Karg says with a smile.

BES celebrates the holidays with upcoming theme days! Join us for any, or ALL, of the festive days we have planned! (Remember, all attire must follow dress code requirements.)
  • Dec. 1: Elf Day (wear holiday colors or dress as an Elf)
  • Dec. 7: Snowman Day (wear white or dress as a snowman)
  • Dec. 9: Christmas Character Day (dress as your favorite holiday character)
  • Dec. 14: Sweater Day (wear a holiday sweater)
  • Dec. 15: GRINCH FEST, 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Cafeteria
  • Dec. 16: Grinch Day (wear anything green or Grinch)
  • Dec. 20: Pajama Day (wear your pajamas)

Winter Concerts

BES students will be performing their Winter Concerts on the dates and times listed below. There are morning and evening performances for each grade level. Family and friends are welcome to join us for any of the performances. Shows are free and open to the public!
  • 1st Grade: Tuesday, December 6 - 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
  • 2nd Grade: Tuesday, December 6 - 11:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
  • 3rd Grade: Friday, December 9 - 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
  • 4th Grade: Friday, December 9 - 11:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
