Mental Health Resources

During times of increased stress, it is important for children and adults to have access to resources to help them to cope, heal, grow and build resilience.  Please take advantage of any of the trusted resources listed below if you need assistance.
Ohio Department of Education
The Ohio Department of Education (ODE) provides access to a variety of resources and tools needed to support mental health and wellness awareness. We have provided a link to their website below. In addition, ODE has also implemented The Ohio CareLine (1-800-720-9616) and Crisis Text Line "4HOPE" to 741741 for individuals to use if they are experiencing a mental health crisis and need assistance.

PsyCare Behavioral Healthcare & Counseling
The mission of PsyCare is to enhance and promote the mental, physical, and emotional well-being and optimal social functioning of all persons. The Brookfield Local School District welcomes the partnership with PsyCare in providing mental health services to students. We have provided links to their website and the district brochure below if you'd like additional information on their services.

Youth Intensive Services (Y.I.S.) S.P.E.A.R Program

Youth Intensive Services (YIS) has been providing quality behavioral healthcare services since 2009. The Brookfield Local School District partners with them for the S.P.E.A.R. program (Successful and Positive Engagement in Academics through Re-education.) The program is a unique opportunity for children to participate in a positive behavior support model. We have provided a link to the YIS website and the S.P.E.A.R. program brochure below if you'd like additional information on the services.
